Welcome to Ticino Swiss-Italian Restaurant. If you are looking for Banff’s best kept dining secret, you have found it. Ticino Restaurant has been a family owned and operated business since 1979.

We pride ourselves in offering an authentic dining experience for people who want to take the time to slow down and savour good quality food. Our warm ambiance blends Swiss, Italian and Canadian influences. Reserve today to enjoy fine-dining food served in a friendly atmosphere that exemplifies the mountain town we love - Banff National Park.

Support Local!

Ticino Restaurant is proud to support the local Bow Valley community. We are an investment partner with The Banff Canmore Community Foundation; we serve Wildlife Spirits made by Wildlife Distillery in Canmore Alberta; we feature Canadian wines from the Okanagan, BC including St. Hubertus & Laughing Stock, our bread is baked fresh at JK Bakery in Canmore Alberta; Our cured meats come from Valbella Meats in Canmore Alberta; our eggs are from a free-range farm in Alberta; our coffee beans are roasted locally at Banff Roasting Co; and our loose leaf tea is from Banff Tea Co.

"I don't often comment on dining experiences but having tried your restaurant last Thursday I feel I must. From first bite to last, the dishes were amazing. Along with the excellent and professional service, it confirms the reason we search out independent, family run restaurants. So thank you for being in Banff, we will be back every chance we get."
