Many returning visitors to Banff remember us from our old Wolf Street location. Back then there were only a handful of restaurants in town, and our dining room even had a dance floor and late night entertainment.

After the 1988 Calgary Olympic Winter Games, commercial development in Banff started to explode. Our new Swiss Chef began an ongoing process of reshaping the menu. We wanted to make sure our increasingly international clientele could enjoy a true Swiss-Italian experience (see "Menus").

In March 1995 we moved to our present location on Banff Avenue and built a new, slightly smaller and more elegant dining room with an adjacent banquet room.

Today your host Erwin Widmer (pictured above, left side of the photo) and our talented chefs including young European cooks, who regularly come to Banff on a one year professional experience program. Ensure you are treated to quality cuisine each time you dine with us.
